5th grade: Animals lapbook

These are the steps you have to follow to make this task:

1.- Choose 5 animals from the same habitat  (e.g. Jungle, Farm, Sea, Savanah, Pets, ...)

2.- Write down as many things as you know about these animals. (e.g. It lives in..., It eats..., It has got..., It can..., It can't...)

3.- Search for interesting facts about these animals. At this website you can learn many things about your favourite animals.

4.- Try to find pictures of your animals. You can look for them in magazines, books, Internet... If you can't find anything, you can do your own drawings.

Once you have got everything, you can start doing the lapbook. In this video you can see an example of how to do it.

And in this other video there is an example of one lapbook about oceans.

Use your imagination, I'm sure you are going to do very nice lapbooks.

The Leprechaun has come to our school.

St. Patrick's day, as a cultural Anglosaxon feature,  it's being studied by the grown ups in our school but the little ones are also learning about Ireland and its culture. We've had lots of fun singing "The little Leprechaun" song

Enjoy it at home!!
